Business Overview

Acting in accordance with the group strategy, we initially started our mining operations in Indonesia, and then expanded operations to Africa (Republic of Niger).

In January 2008 we entered in a joint venture agreement with Indonesia-based PT Maja Sentana Express mining and development company; as the result of this PT Earthstone Resources was formed and duly registered as an independent Indonesian corporation in April 2008. Our key exploration and development region is focused over the renowned Sunda-Banda mineral arc stretching across the islands of Southern Indonesia - Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan and Sulawesi.

 

At the end of 2008, Earthstone Uranium FZE has signed a Protocol of Agreement to acquire 4 Uranium Blocks with the Government of Republic of Niger and is already granted two uranium and associated elements exploration permits located near the city of Agadez, approximately 800 kilometers Northeast of the capital of Niger.
