Earthstone Group announces resumption of normal port operations at Padang, Indonesia

Jakarta, Indonesia, November 18, 2009: Earthstone Group, a diversified mining group, with Iron Ore mining operations focused in the Sumatra region of Indonesia, is pleased to announce the resumption of its Iron Ore port operations at the Port of Teluk Bayur in Padang City, West Sumatra, Indonesia.

The company resumed its full-fledged port operations on October 18, 2009 and is exporting Iron Ore currently produced at its Nalo Baru project tenement. The project tenement is located near the village of Nalo Baru, Sumatra with a total mining area of 438 Hectares. 

This natural disaster delay did not affect the Company's Business Plan schedule and the shipments are being executed in accordance with approved timetable. This is a testimony of the consistent operating throughput and concentrate production achieved by the company's Nalo Baru tenement.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Pankaj Shah, Chairman and CEO, Earthstone Group, stated "We are very pleased by the turnaround time, credited to the ground teams working very hard to ensure the smooth supply of our products to our customers. We are also satisfied with the continued progress of our field programs to support the customer demand."

The company had temporarily suspended its Iron Ore port operations following the powerful earthquake that struck off the port city of Padang on September 30, 2009.
