Uranium
Earthstone Uranium FZE, subsidiary of the Earthstone Group, entered into uranium mining in Niger at the most opportune time, when the Government of Niger is encouraging diversification of the mining industry.

Earthstone Uranium FZC and the Government of Republic of Niger has entered into an agreement of Protocol. According the the agreement, the government will grant four exploration permits to the company for uranium and associated elements. The concession of Toulok Two (459.20 Ha) and Toulok Four (464.60 Ha) have already been awarded to Earthstone.

The two mine concession areas are located in the highly prospective Tim Mersoi Basin, along the west of flexure Arlit fault, which is the main structural feature controlling the mineralization within the existing uranium producing mines in Niger. The Eastern part of the concession area lies on a hilly surface along the North-South Arlit fault. Additionally, the East-West fault also runs through the tenements. Outcropping rocks are commonly found covering the surfaces of this area. The maximum elevation is approximately 215 meters above the sea level.

Post an initial reconnaissance study conducted by our team of geologists, grab samples were sent for mineral testing to SGS Labs (Johannesburg). The lab results have come back to be extremely encouraging in some cases exhibiting uranium values of upto 920ppm or 0.092% U308. A detailed exploration program is currently underway.
